Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles Betting Pick & Prediction

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles Betting Pick & Prediction

There are just two weeks remaining in the NFL regular season, and there is still plenty that needs to be decided. The NFC East race is coming down to the wire, but this Week 16 matchup will very likely decide the division championship. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon in what should be a rivalry game with a ton at stake.

Dallas blew out the Eagles in their previous meeting this season, coming away with a 37-10 victory. The Cowboys were also huge winners in Week 15, but they still come into this game with a record of just 7-7.

Philadelphia got a last-second victory over the weekend to also improve to 7-7 on the season. The Eagles have now won two straight games after losing three in a row. Dallas is a 2.5-point favorite over Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, making the Eagles a home underdog.

Cowboys Finding Offense Again

The Dallas Cowboys went through a dry spell on offense, but it appears that they are out of their slump. Dallas scored 24 points against the Chicago Bears in Week 15, then posted 44 points against the Los Angeles Rams. Defense has been an issue at times for the Cowboys, but they are still allowing just 20 points per game. The Cowboys have all of the tools to make a deep playoff run this season.

Dallas is averaging 300 passing yards per game to go along with 134 rushing yards. Quarterback Dak Prescott is having the best season of his career and has thrown for over 4,300 yards. Running back Ezekiel Elliott has over 1,100 rushing yards this season and can also be a weapon in the passing game. Dallas should take advantage of a bad Eagles defense in this game.

Eagles Must Get Some Stops

If the Philadelphia Eagles are going to win this game, they are going to have to get some stops in the red zone. Philadelphia is giving up over 23 points per game this season, and it can’t afford to give up that many points to Dallas. The Eagles just allowed the Washington Redskins to score 27 points in their previous game, and that has to give them some cause for concern.

The Eagles have dealt with a ton of injuries on offense this season, and it’s really hurt their production. Quarterback Carson Wentz has still thrown for over 3,400 yards this season, but he is running out of players to throw to. The Eagles are averaging over 120 rushing yards per game, and they will use that strategy to give their defense a chance in this game.

Cowboys Pick Up Huge Road Win

Both of these teams have shown flashes of greatness this season, but they just have not found enough consistency. The Dallas Cowboys look like the better team on paper, but playing in Philadelphia is never an easy task.

The Eagles should be able to pick up this win at home, but they have too many injuries to pick them. Dallas played well in Week 15, and it will use that momentum to pick up a huge road win. Bet the Dallas Cowboys -2.5 over the Philadelphia Eagles in this game.
